Blogger Brunch at Mia Francesca

We try not to brag….but our blogger brunches are a pretty great time. This past Saturday a group of us made our way to Mia Francesca to try their mouth-watering brunch menu. You wouldn’t know it when you walk into the restaurant but they have a coach house tucked back behind their adorable patio area. It’s the perfect spot for private parties!

About Mia Francesca

If you’ve ever explored Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood you may have come across Mia Francesca. It’s an Italian restaurant founded in 1992 with an emphasis perfecting classic Italian dishes and a sophisticated comfort ambiance. All their menus are handwritten and everything is made fresh in-house. Fun fact: it is one of many restaurants in the Francesca’s Restaurants Group, which now has three concepts across 33 locations and four states.

Mimosas were a plenty and boy were they delicious. Usually, when serving large parties Mia Francesca serves all their items family style but they were kind enough to let everyone to choose a different dish off of their extensive brunch menu.

Before our meals arrived we were encouraged to try their donut dipping station thanks to Glazed and Infused, donut shop concept. Everyone was able to decorate their own donuts with a bunch of different topping. Shout out to Ashley from Hasty Book List for snagging great photos of the donuts and also winning the $100 Mia Francesca’s gift card giveaway.

Just look at this Ravioli ai Spinaci with spinach filled ravioli in a four-cheese sauce, spinach and a touch of tomato sauce!

How can you not drool over this Baked Uovo Fiorentina with soft baked egg, fontina cheese, creamed spinach, ciabatta, toast, and white truffle oil.

Let’s not forget about this Capicolla Spinach Benedict with spicy capicola ham, parmesan, spinach, toasted English muffin with hollandaise, served with house potatoes. It was INSANELY good.

Thank you to the whole staff at Mia Francesca’s for letting us dine this weekend and to all the bloggers who spent their Saturday with us. We had so much fun and we’ll definitely be back soon!
