When did you start blogging and what inspired you to start you blog?
I started blogging way back in 2007 once I saw the music industry shifting to a more digital space. I have had other blogs in the past and I went through what I like to call a “trial and error” process to find what works best for me. My current blog has been up
and running for 2 years now and it’s been an amazing journey!
What is your favorite blog post that you have written?
My favorite blog post would have to be the most recent one titled “The Unofficial Guide to My Hometown: Shreveport, Louisiana”. I’m a proud “Baby of the Bayou” and I got to write about all my favorite things that make my hometown great!
What do you love about blogging?
I absolutely love telling stories and I love using my writing as a tool to educate and inspire people. As a blogger, I love the fact that I can tell stories that are transparent and connect with individuals across the globe who think and feel just like you.
What are some brands that you have worked with, or some brands that you would love to work with?
I would love to work with major brands like Blackberry Mobile, Maybelline, and Akira Chicago. To date, I have partnered with the Tourism Bureau of the city of Shreveport, Louisiana, covered festivals such as the Circle of Sisters Expo in New York City and Lollapalooza here in Chicago and truTV’s Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks. I’m open to working new and upcoming brands as well!
