Last week we hosted one of our infamous WCBC happy hours at Chicago’s iconic steakhouse, Gibsons Steakhouse. It is a must-visit dining destination for celebrities, tourists, and locals alike. They have an extensive wine list and amazing service as well as a fun and lively atmosphere! If you get a chance sneak a peek at all the photos as you walk upstairs. There’s so many talented musicians, artists, and actors who have eaten at the restaurant!
We started the night with a giveaway from Thimblepress, who was generous enough to give us a bunch of cute prints, greeting cards, journals, planners, calendars, and much more to hand out to our bloggers! Thimblepress is based out Mississippi and creates colorful, happy, and innovative products like the ones below!
Bloggers were encouraged to share cute photos on their social media with the hashtag #wcbchh as well as tagging @gibsonssteakhouse, @windycityblogco, and @thimblepress. We chose three winners at the end of the night, the lucky bloggers won a variety of products from Thimblepress.

Once all the bloggers were settled, we mixed and mingled all night long while being served tasty sliders and appetizers. Not to mention a variety of sparkling drinks, beer, and wine!

One of our favorites parts of hosting happy hours is that we’re able to connect a variety of bloggers to one another in a fun, lighthearted environment. Thank you again to Gibsons Steakhouse and Thimblepress for making it such a fun evening!
