Friday Five with Ellie from Hungry by Nature

Happy Friday Windy City Bloggers! We’ve made it through another week and another month – how is tomorrow already April 1st?! I’m Ellie from Hungry by Nature – a health and wellness website dedicated to inspiring others to live a healthy and balanced life, starting in the kitchen! I don’t know about you; but I have a pretty relaxing weekend ahead – dinner at Tango Sur, some spring recipe testing, and trying out a new gym.

I’m so happy to be sharing some of my favorite posts from WCBC members this week – let’s get to it!

Healthy Sweet Potato Breakfast Quiche from Life’s a Beacham

I first discovered Allison through Instagram after being diagnosed with Celiacs last December. Life’s a Beacham is Allison’s blog focused on “living a gluten free lifestyle” and let me tell you – she KNOWS what she is doing. Need a restaurant recommendation? She’s your girl. Want tips on what food products are and aren’t worth the cost? Watch her Instagram stories. Oh and she will give you some serious hair envy. Plus, this sweet potato breakfast quiche is right up my alley! I’ll be brunching at home this weekend.

No Knead French Baguette Recipe by Macarons and Lavender

Oh my goodness… NO KNEAD FRENCH BREAD?! I want this so bad. In fact, I lust after everything that Lephan posts. Lephan blogs at Macarons and Lavender – a blog dedicated to food and travel. There is literally nothing I want more than to travel the world and eat delicious food for the rest of my life. Is that too much to ask? Lephan shares gorgeous photos of the trips she takes around the world with her husband and the food that those trips inspire. Make sure to check out this recipe!

Love & Overalls by See Happiness Through

My feelings towards overalls fluctuate between I’m so in love to let’s not dress like a 10-year-old. But after seeing Erin’s latest post, I am SO in love! How adorable does she look!? Pretty sure I will be heading to Madewell this weekend to get myself a pair.

Marcona Almond Butter by Erin’s Inside Job

I’ve been following Erin for a while now. She is an incredible writer, is hysterical to follow on Instagram stories, and can make a mean nut butter. When she posted a picture of this marcona almond butter on her Instagram on Wednesday, I immediately said: “GIMME GIMME”. How creamy and dreamy does that look?

Off the Shoulder Tops by Charmingly Styled

This weather has been such a tease and I am beyond ready for spring! I adore Maya of Charmingly Styled and love this emerald green one-shoulder top. In this post, Maya shared lots of off the shoulder tops and I’m thinking I need to add this style to my spring wardrobe!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! And if you are looking for wholesome eats and sweet treats, make sure to follow along with me on my blog, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter.
