Hi! My name is Jessica and I’m the blogger behind The Style Native. My blog focuses on fashion and my personal style. My style changes day to day depending how I’m feeling and I love sharing it with my followers.
When did you start blogging and what inspired you to start you blog?
I started my blog last September, so pretty recently. I’ve been reading fashion blogs since I can remember and I had always thought about starting one of my own. I finally decided that I just needed to do it, It was now or never. I’ve always loved writing and sharing pieces of my life with people and have also been obsessed with fashion since the age of 3 so in my mind it just made sense.
What is your favorite blog post that you have written?
One of my favorite posts I’ve written was about a trip to Playa del Carmen, that I took in November. It was fun to compile all the looks I wore that trip into one post.
What do you love about blogging?
Blogging for me is a creative outlet. I love brainstorming ideas of different posts I can write and coming up with concepts for shoots. I also love the community that comes with it. Even though I am just starting out anyone I talk to within the blogging community is so friendly and supportive!
What are some brands that you have worked with, or some brands that you would love to work with?
I have worked with iDeal of Sweden who are an amazing phone case company. I would love to partner with asos, Re/done Denim, Revolve, etc. as well as other local Chicago boutiques. I think it’s so important to support our Chicago entrepreneurs.
