Francesca’s on Chestnut Brunch Recap

On Saturday our members gathered at Francesca’s on Chestnut so that we could check out the restaurant’s new brunch menu. We were treated to an incredible feast filled with mimosas, Bloody Marys, and lots of talk about blogging!

One thing that we love about Francesca’s is the Bloody Mary bar! Half of us sipped mimosas, while the other half opted to build their own Bloody Marys.

We started out meal by trying the cinnamon rolls, muffins, and apple pie bites. We love this capture by Sheena and the City.

Next we all got to order off the brunch menu! The most popular brunch order was the Arancini Benedict – it is made with crispy risotto balls topped with prosciutto, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce.

The Arancini Benedict is a delicious Italian twist on a classic Eggs Benedict. Ashlee snapped these pics.

Lost N Found in the City found a blogger favorite – avocado toast on the menu!

LaToya from The Fat Girl of Fashion had the Shrimp & Grits which came with polenta for an Italian twist on a  Southern classic.

Lily from Hunger Lust Travel had a Smoked Salmon Salad with faro, corn, arugula, assuage cheese, grape tomatoes, almonds, raisins, and a green goddess dressing. Yum!

Alex from Gilded Gal ordered a panini – which of course comes with a side of fries.

We had the most wonderful time and would like to thank Francesca’s on Chestnut for hosting us!
