This past weekend Windy City Blogger Collective teamed up with online retailer Love Emme, LVX nail polish, and Chop Chop Mobile Salon & Barber for a morning of shopping, sipping mimosas, and chatting about entrepreneurship!
Windy City Blogger Collective loves supporting female-run businesses, such as Love Emme, which was created by women and operated by women. It is a destination for fun, personalized, and sentimental gifts. The event was held at Love Emme’s warehouse where they showcase some of their online merchandise.

Love Emme co-founder, Antoinette Arnold, carefully curates products for their online store. They love to tell the stories of small business owners.
Chop Chop Mobile brings hairstylists, makeup artists, barbers and manicurists onsite and on demand. Bloggers were invited to get mini makeovers, get their hair braided or styled.
They offer their clients a unique experience by bringing the services to them and will be launching their mobile trailer this coming May.
LVX Nail Polish also had a pop-up nail station. If you haven’t heard of LVX it is the only luxury, high-fashion, 7 toxin-free premium nail lacquer. Seriously, this stuff lasts for such a long time and looks awesome!
Closer to the end of the event bloggers were encouraged to listen to the panel of female entrepreneurs. Founder of Love Emme and Chop Chop Mobile talked about the importance of female-run businesses.
Co-founders Kit Graham finished the morning up with a discussion about the ways bloggers can monetize their blogs. Windy City Blogger Collective has a wide range of bloggers with different goals. This talk, in particular, was directed towards those who want to take their blog to the next level.
We want to thank Love Emme for hosting the event at their warehouse space and to LVX Nail Polish and Chop Chop Mobile for making the event so fun!
